Hereford House — Zona Rosa - Missouri

Delicious, well prepared food in an upscale, but casual atmosphere. Service was rather slow on a week day evening, but it could be due to a staffing shortage, which is prevalent at all restaurants now. We've been going here for many years and will definitely be back.

It's OK. But for the money??? Not what I expected. But, KC is a pretty tough market … lots of good steak in KC!

The food was not good. There were 6 of us. Only one meal was hot, that was the child's meal. My salad was great but the steak soup had very little flavor. My sister had trout. It was missing seasoning. Two people had steaks, they were tough. The waitress commented that none of us ate much. I guess that kind of tells the tale. We were celebrating birthdays and I didn't want to say anything at the time.

First time visiting for our 35th anniversary Luke was our waiter and he was fantastic! We both hat the ribeye and it was very tasty and tender.

If you are looking for a fancy night out in KC, Zona Rosa’s Hereford House is amazing. The food and service are impeccable!
