Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

What I liked about this location is the friendly customer service, the waitress was always listening to our questions and was easier to make a decision. The crispy chicken was great, tender and juicy.

We got home later than usual and decided to order take out. Swiss Chalet seemed the best choice. Heartland is the closest location. My husband was apprehensive because of a few bad experiences with ridiculously small portions of tiny pieces of chicken. but I talked him into giving it one last try because they were close and we were hungry. What a mistake! They did it yet again. We ordered two quarter chicken dinners, one dark and one white meat. I also ordered baked potato with "the works". One of the dinners was fine but the quarter dark yet again like the last three times, they it the smallest meek looking piece of left over chicken for my husband. And nothing but sour cream for the potatoes. Completely fed up and now close to closing time he calls in to speak to a manager. First they try to say that a manager isn't available. If you want quick service, efficiency you can get it here. Better to come knowing what you want to eat because the minute you sit down you are asked to put an order in. The meal ,as always, is tasty. Still miss the original sauce.Pecan pie is always a great dessert. Not as good as Grandma's but for commercially bought, it's good.

Do you find yourself thinking "What I want right now is dry, overcooked chicken delivered to my house just above room temperature with all the trimmings: soggy fries and tasteless stuffing"! ?Well have you found the right restaurant.If you recall the scene from A Christmas Vacation when Chevy Chase touches the turkey with his carving knife and watches the turkey split open into a dry husk with bone dry skin cracking away from the bones? If you haven't seen the movie you can skip it if you have ordered from this Swiss Chalet because that is exactly how your food will show up.In all sincerity the four dinners we ordered for delivery showed up on time but baked so dry and so thoroughly that they were all but inedible. My kids were able to dig deep enough into their half chickens to find meat that was capable of being chewed but my wife and I did not.The place gets a 2 out of 5 because the containers the food came in were good and I can reuse them to hold leftovers from the other restaurants I will order from while avoiding this one.Hang up the phone and order a pizza.

We visited this location today and we were disappointed with the level of service we got. This is the worst Swiss Chalet branch I have ever visited. We waited a long time until the server came and took our order. We started receiving our appetizers after a long wait. We figured out that one order was missing so we informed the server and she said that she didn't add it to our order !!!!! We cancelled it. We waited for a long time until we got our main course which wasn't as expected. The quality of food is getting worse. It took them a very long time to clear out the tables. We have to ask for the catchup, napkins and refills. Swiss chalet was never like this. I think it is my last visit to this place.
