Contribuiți la feedbackOrdered Ming Room on UberEats, which somehow only offered their Thai menu. Given the Buy 1 Get 1 Deal, I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. The portion was very good for the cost, not to mention I got one extra Pad Thai. But the taste was unfortunately subpar. Was it even Pad Thai? I don't think so. The Chow-Fun style noodles were just not Pad Thai material, and the ingredients used such as green peppers, carrots and eggs also don't belong to Pad Thai. This was more like fried noodles. What's worse was that the dish tasted bland. They even gave you chili sauce on the side (which was Chinese sauce) so at least the spiciness can help a bit. There was nothing Thai about its Pad Thai. This is the most basic dish in Thai cuisine and if they can't even get this right, I would not order their other Thai dishes. I understand they specialize in Hakka/Chinese so I'd be still willing to try their other dishes, but just not the Thai. I add 1 more star for its good food portions.
I used to love this restaurant, but unfortunately the food quality has gone down. I would recommend saving your money and trying a different place for Hakka food now.
Ordered the chicken Hakka and two chicken egg rolls. Too much onion for my taste and a bit too lean on the amount of chicken. The egg rolls were good but didn't really taste like they had much chicken either. Prices have increased like everything else but I'd order here again!
Ming Room has been a place my family and I have visited for the past decade. Every single one of my birthdays from 2008-2013 was spent here. This place is a family favourite! Their takeout service is also quick and easy to order. We ordered their Manchurian chicken, hot sour soup, spring rolls, chicken wontons, and manchurian fried rice. Our order came with a side of white rice and 6 fortune cookies. Definitely hits the cravings for Hakka food. They also sell their chili sauce they provide at their location which my family always stocks up on! It tends to be quite oily but adds the perfect kick of heat to any meal.
The taste has really gone down, not worth it. We ordered chilli tofu which was excessively salty and just tasted like soy sauce with corn starch , also ordered Manchurian paneer which had the exact same sauce as the chili tofu . The Hakka noodles are the only thing that tasted okay . Don't waste your money here
