Holiday Garden & Dodai Sushi

Tempura! This place serves some of the best tempura I have ever tried. The batter is light and perfectly crispy, allowing the taste of the vegetables and shrimp to shine through. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I have recommended this restaurant to all of my friends in Toronto. The Chinese dishes on the menu are also excellent. It's definitely worth exploring their extensive and unique menu.

Fantastic Sushi. My overall experience at this restaurant was quite good. I would rate the ambiance 5 out of 5, the food 4.5 out of 5, and the service 4 out of 5. I appreciated the fusion of Chinese flavors on the menu, which added a unique twist. I ordered shrimp and vegetable tempura with udon rolls. While the service was a bit slow in serving the food, and the portions were on the smaller side, I understand that this is the traditional way it is done. Despite these minor flaws, everything was well-prepared. I would definitely come back again, as the decorations are creatively done and the food is of high quality.

It's a snow day and we haven't cooked like that. I remember a friend mentioned holiday garden dodai sushi and I tried to find a good nude place. we ordered the green drachenrolle, unagi roll, spring rolls and Singapore style noodles. they also gave us free edamames! only wow it was so delicious that you don't have a warning. I am so glad that I found my new favorite Japanese/Chinese restaurant! Many thanks for the great dinner they will soon see me again

I'm sorry to write this review. Normally, I would not leave an assessment for a business, even though my experience was not the most pleasant. after trying their food, it is hard to understand how this place gets even good reviews; the pictures they have published on their website do not even come close to what they actually receive when they order. what I personally experienced was that sushi rolls, which should be regularly in size, come in tiny maki sizes, and the special rolls for which the restaurant extra calculates come in regular sizes. the sashimi pieces are also about less than the half of the size they would normally get where otherwise. So in the round we spent $95 for two people and are still hungry! we did not call on the restaurant to get something from them, but to let them know our thoughts about their portions and their total food, and they were not susceptible; in the opposite, they were slightly rude. the boss said that this is how we do it when they order from them, they only expect a very pricy sushi, not so much eat and really nothing special.
