We also had Fajita, the part of Fajita was too small compared to the other Mexican restaurants. And only three beers on draft, that was disappointing.
We went there as part of an anniversary celebration. The food was delicious, we had about 75 people in our party the staff was exceptionally brilliant did an excellent job keeping chips, salsa drinks filled, as well as once you were ready with your food, they were there to pick up your plate. I'd give them 100 stars if they were available. If it wasn't like a 2 1/2 hour drive to get there, I'd go back in a heartbeat. If you're close to them, GO VISIT THEM.
I thought it was good. We were a group of three and relatively dark skin (we are hispanic). We first had a nice participant who was turned to another. She was also nice, but the server didn't get her name, gave us no napkins until we asked for the food and even gave us what seemed like paper towels from the bathroom (two of us had gone to the bathroom earlier. For comparison, one of our group members noticed that they were another large group of (here apparently white young people at the table right next to us normal napkins directly when they were served and was very attentive to other tables (including the above). We wanted to brush it off, but at the bill they did not mention the details of the Taco Tuesday combo (the drinks were not part of it, but calculated separately and calculated a large tip, essentially 8% (7.75% for basically discriminatory and negligible service : without asking us about it. We had to wait a long time to get our bill. In the hope that it was only the blonde server; we sat outside directly from a large plant that also blocked our view of the seascape, so could not enjoy. Another tip: The paperboards did not help us immerse ourselves in the experience.
This restaurant was discovered during the depths of the pandemic. I closed them as the restaurants. I had ordered the Chile Verde plate and the meat was extremely moist and the sauce was really tasteful, even for delivery. I thought if it were so delicious, wonder how good it was in the restaurant? I loved all the food and was eager to try it fresh once the restaurants opened again. My husband and I finally came to the restaurant and it was even better fresh! The guacamole was made fresh and so good. The rice was perfectly seasoned and fluffy. The meat was very delicate, moist and well seasoned.
Beautiful setting not so friendly staff the day we went Cinco De Mayo I have gone to what is this location for over 28 years but it has been over 6 months since I have been here . I decided to take my mom out for a **** Mary and myself for what else a Margarita the bartender helped us but was not friendly that day , possibly due to him having to help us and make drinks , ok I get it . He made my moms B Mary it was so dark and the amount of pepper on the bottom was as if he spilled the Bottle on it ok send it back. It?s a Mexican restaurant, get a Margarita, she did and it was delicious she was happy , now if only he he could crack a smile or just be nice. The rest of the staff was running around as if it was really busy but it wasn?t yet, it was 4:30 by the time we left I?m sure they had a full house later that evening . As fit atmosphere it?s 100, I love it . The view of Mission Viejo lake is breath taking you have indoor outdoor seating they offer different levels in the restaurant, the lowest has little huts down the stairs best Lake view , then higher up were we sat , great view next to bar and restaurant, walker wheel chair friendly , They have the big bar inside , still open air , an indoor restaurant area for parties , this place is amazing . Taco Tuesday is the best I have to come back for this soon . You must check it out you won?t be sorry . Hopefully the bartender was just tired that day .
