Pollo Tropical - Miramar

This is ok for a quick meal. We normally get the Family Meal and the chicken tends to be dry. Sweet Plantains are usually on the burnt side, which we dislike heavily. The Fried Yucas with garlic sauce are good.

I visit this location on occasion and there’s usually an issue which I have overlooked because it’s the only pollo tropical nearby and the employees are teens but today I pulled up to the drive thru and I was received with “your order” I proceeded with my order and nothing but dead silence on their end. At this point by the initial tone and lack of response I knew the quality of food would be poor or as per usual missing items would follow. I drove off and will not be returning to this location. It’s always a disappointment.

This place was good on taking orders quick, now the lines are insane and it takes forever to reach the window just to pay. They need to do something about that soon.

Because I am spending the day with dad, who was admitted into Memorial Miramar Hospital, I decided to place an Uber Eats order for Pollo Tropical.I ordered a Chicken Tropichop, with just lettuce, grilled vegetables, and tomatoes. I also ticked off/selected to have chopped raw onions and jalapeño peppers on the side, which comes in those little plastic complimentary cups.Well, what I received was a small portion of food, which looked like a tossed mess! The Tropichop bowl didn't have enough chicken OR romaine lettuce! They also put corn inside, and I didn't ask for corn! And the chopped raw onions and jalapeños I asked for, I didn't get either! There was also a lot of clear liquid (water or sauce? in the bottom of the bowl. It was poorly put together, and I wasn't happy with my meal at all. And to think, I paid almost $10 Uber fees and tip for it!

I normally wouldn't leave a review but I feel so played! I ordered fries for my kids at 3.59 a pop I get home and the bag is pretty much empty but that's not the worst problem it's old hard stale fries instead of making a new batch they just scrounged up the few old fries they had what a disgrace. So disappointing and gross!!!
