I was an employee in Milton Sheetz. From the retrospect of being inside, there were many not Kosher things going on surrounding management down to salespeople employees. As a result, this was reported to the corporate office many times, over a fair amount of time, and some action was taken recently by company, but not enough. I had to turn in a 1 month notice and cease my employment due to asking to be grouped into their enormous practices of inclusion, to which a great deal of training modules are dedicated in this company, Sheetz. I was refused and excluded by the manager to have my my religious days of observation off, to which these particular exact days are protected by State of WV in law. When I 1st asked, the manager stated that basically, he would need to let the supervisor /assistant manager group vote in a meeting because of Sheetz seniority protocol. In conversation with the regional director and one of the admin HR personnel, they made me aware that seniority does not exist in stores, its based on ability, training etc. In my employment venture at Sheetz store 424 I was injured on back of my neck in store, on the clock which occurred several months ago by a current assistant manager who works in the Milton store. He pulled a heavy small box from a kitchen dry storage shelf and with 4 foot up force the corner bearing all weight struck my neck. There were witnesses. He, KM, was told by the SM to make a STARS incident report; he neglected to do so. I have had some issues that are possibly related to this incident that he caused, which hurt me. I am not surprised, though, because he was the previous store managers favorite assistant and was in front of everyone treated as if he could do no wrong. The previous manager engaged in blatant favoritism in this store. Many employees that left the Milton store still are SHEETZ employees, and some still working were constantly concerned and spoke about this issue. Also, I had scheduled 6 days of PTO prior to my notice, but manager said my last day was before my scheduled PTO days begin; therefore, I was not dully compensated. There is so much more that happened daily that would cause one to be emotionally exhausted when coming to that store to work. I had no advocacy there like others that were favored, so I needed to quit my job, losing my support for family, and find governing agencies to listen and help and assist me in search for a remedy for many of we employees that were wronged. This company is already involved in litigation over discrimination, having to do with employment issues.
This is a good place for a quick bite to eat and the bathroom are very clean
I was in this store a little earlier and I watched a supervisor I’m Guessing anyways call the police on a guy that had a question about why they wouldn’t accept his out of state driver license. The police came in an bombarded the guy an you could tell he was embarrassed I was waiting on my sandwich to be made an they completely embarrassed the customer For no reason. How can they call the police on somebody over a dispute of cigarettes when no threats were made. The whole thing rubbed me wrong I’m a long time customer Of sheetz since they opened the first one in the Tristate and I can say whoever the young man was shouldn’t be working with the public if that’s how he represents sheetz!

When i go into a store the last thing i need is some little thug disrespecting me because he can't operate his till!
