We also ordered a salad to split, but the pizza beat it to our table. Salad was excellent save for one rough cut piece of iceberg. The dressing was perfect——probably because I mixed it. We also ordered a potato off the appetizer list that had cheese inside, was the consistency of a mashed potato, but crusty on the outside. Delicious. Only complaint was the young lady who took our order. She was petulant , unsmiling and appeared bored as if the management had not let her go home early—-we dined after 21:00. Girl, smile and act as if you want to have customers!!!!!!
I was here with a friend on a Sunday evening, cause after passing in front of it many times we finally decided to try it. Pizza is not bad... but it can be better! Here some detail: POSITION: definitely good. Navigli area, but outside of the most crowded part LOCATION: the feeling inside is strange. Some decorations recall German breweries, other details appear to stress the fashion-aspects of Milan, but the white walls and high ceilings give a cold feeling... It could be improved... STAFF: polite and fast FOOD: we both had pizza (one Sara and one Sapori) and the dough was good, but we were not fully convinced by the toppings: not as tasty as expected. As a dessert we shared a chocolate and raspberry cake, which was too sweet (and had only raspberry jam but not fruit on it). PRICE: good for this area of milan. With 41 euros we had: 0.5L water, 2 beers -0.5L each-, 2 pizza and 1 dessert.
Awesome place, full of vintage goodies. Overlooked so many times as it is in the quieter part of Navigly Grande, I came upon it during the once a month fleamarket. So glad I did. It´s a feast for the eye. Such attention to detail, big guest room but with a cozy feel to it. I only had coffee as it was still morning.
