Puerto Vallarta Middletown

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Middletown! The portions are generous, the food is consistently delicious, and the service is outstanding. While it may not look like much from the outside, the interior is very clean, and the menu offers a wonderful variety. I absolutely love it!

This restaurant is a true gem! The food is incredibly delicious and the portions are very generous. The prices are reasonable considering the quality, and there are plenty of options to choose from—definitely worth every penny! The staff is exceptional as well. I'm already looking forward to coming back very soon and often!

We only ordered a pitcher of mango margaritas, and we were shocked when we received the bill. Just a couple of months ago, we would share a variety of tacos along with a pitcher, spending at least $75 after a good tip. But tonight we ended up paying $70 just for a pitcher of mango margaritas, including the tip. How does the price increase by $25 in six months for a pitcher that mostly consists of juice? We were very disappointed not only with the price hike but also with the lack of explanation from the management and the poor service we received during our visit. You've lost two regular customers over a few extra bucks. Please do better; we were truly let down. If you’re looking for a better option, I recommend going to Los Mariachis in Wallingford where they offer pitchers for $37, and they actually taste like tequila. Puerto Vallarta, you need to improve.

Do NOT catering Puerto Vallarta in Middletown! I called a Monday to place my catering order for 25-30 people on Saturday at 1:00. The order was not large or complex, simple bovine chicken tacos with the fixations. I talked to the manager that day and thought everything was good. He didn't ask for a deposit, but takes my name and phone number, and said it'll be ready Saturday 1:00. My sister goes to discover the catering order only, the Saturday shift / screw are not aware of any catering order for Saturday. Panic mode follows! They offer our order, but our party starts at 2:00. This is very unprofessional and this manager must be held responsible. Nothing could be done at that time, so we had to run away disappointed, but I was sure to write a review of this experience. They lost on a $500 catering order and a frequent customer! I'd admit I called earlier or earlier to confirm, but was busy getting the party ready. The food is great, but they don't have an event. This experience wasn't enough for me.

This is a fun and tasty restaurant! We were seated immediately and enjoyed our food and drinks. The portions are huge as well!
