I fell in with the kids. the dog too. really nice eating and the whole staff were very friendly. the meals were a good size, with drinks and all this for £30! brilliant. highly recommended.

Excellent place to eat, good food and great value, had a lovely family get together, staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a day-trip, friendly and warm, cozy atmosphere, it was very busy, but the staff was friendly and efficient, we sat near the beautiful papageien near the window that was beautiful. we had the light bite menu, which is £8.99 for 2 courses, eating was made at home and freshly cooked, I had vegetarian lasagne with a large stack of homemade chips and salat, and homemade toffe apple sponge and ice cream. my friend had steak-pie chips and gravy. and homemade apple cake and custard. the lighter bite menu was plentiful, a lot to eat. many menu options. we fought for the end. we'll be back soon. can recommend this beautiful place x

I visit regularly, both with family and with people I support. Food is always delicious and excellent value . Service is great. Can't fault anything. Looking at the bad reviews, there's some really strange people out there! And probably nothing would please them. I love to read Jo's replies to the complainers. And it's clear they don't have a sense of humour. Highly recommended for good home cooked pub food.
