Le Break - Metz

Strolling out in the early morning, I ran across this little coffee shop run by a delightful and helpful couple, and having had breakfast there every morning since, I can safely say that this is a find. The place is quiet, the food (which is entirely made on the premises) is incredible and the decor is modern and charming. I've tried their apple flan, their croissants, pate Lorraine (not a paste, but more like a really good sausage roll in flaky pastry - and I confess I ate more than six of these over the last weekend), and I had quiche Lorraine yesterday morning for breakfast. It was superb. On the weekends, there is little custom, which made this even more special - an island of calm first thing in the morning, making dawdling over coffees and pastries oh so French. This little haven is a must stop - and without a doubt, one of my top three places to eat in the entire of France. Prices are very reasonable, access is readily available, and the fare exquisitely good. Five stars.

We stopped here by chance by going to the Christmas market and I can tell you that we were not disappointed. the bosses who opened just a few months ago are very nice, take the time to talk to you and explain the products to you. I really enjoyed watching the cakes and patisseries in the window that the boss immediately told me which were frozen and which were made home (hey yes, it still exists). the speciality of this snack is the roll that is available in several variants. My brother-in-law said that it was "a killing." Everything is good, prices are very correct. Moreover, the place is clean completely renovated. I can only encourage you to go for a tour to see by yourself and give a boost to this establishment that starts and which deserves to be fully promised to a great success.

This café is truly nice and cozy place with the really attentive personal. I tried only sandwiches but everything looks tasty ;) Prices are not so high and the atmosphere is perfect to have a breakfast here. Thanks a lot :)
