Wasshoi - Metro Manila

The foods here are okay. Nothing super exceptional with the taste. You get what you expect from Japanese foods. The ambiance could have been better if its more private.

Most overpriced Japanese resto visited in metro Manila - dirty restaurant flies - small serves....do yourself a favour eat somewhere else....

This is really great!lunch menu served unlimited rice and miso soup with appetizer from 11am-2pm!Superb! Highly recommended with very affordable price.

Ordered yakitori, California maki, beef, oysters.. I asked the waitress if how many pcs for for oysters, as what we heard she said it came out only yeah for freakin and it’s a local oyster (aklan oysters are better)California maki is so-so, to think that this is a Japanese restaurant.. Tenya and even tokyo tokyo is better! See my pic. Beef is just okay, nothing special for for few pcs, I tasted somewhere way better kahit mas mura. Yakitori is a savior! Infairness masarap... service is good (aside from wrong info I got)Nothing special, paid around and ended up not full and not satisfied at all...I’m willing to pay extra or more just give us a quality food. If you are a real Japanese food lover don’t eat here! You’ll be disappointed.. We tried it here bcos we’re too tired to walk.

Found another gem. This is located at Fort Strip and there were lots of Japanese dining in so for us it’s an indication that it’s good and it did not disappoint. I always order Potato Salad in Japanese restos, usually it’s just the usual potato salad that I love but here, it’s so creamy and tasty with the Japanese Mayo. It was really good, better that the others I’ve tasted so far. Their salmon sashimi was so fresh and lovely, hubby was ecstatic. Loved everything we ordered and would love to go back again and again. We liked their Chicken Teriyaki, it was not just sweet, it was also salty, such a nice blend.
