A friendly, family-run place serving authentic Pakistani dishes. I had the chef's speciality haleem, a hearty dish I would be one of the best comfort food lamb and lenses haleem is a suppeneinpot enriched with lenses, delicate fall from bone meat, green chilis and fresh ingwer. hard to photograph, but believe me, it's good. the rest of the family had huhn methi and huhn korma with hot fresh naans that filled with meat especially popular. our daughter thought it was the best corma she ever had, especially since it wasn't sweet like so many take-off versions. we enjoyed everything. it is easy and easy to cook good family they can not go wrong with it.
What do you want to eat in a caffe? in most caffes they can enjoy a disc cake, sandwich or muffin. @cafe_mori offers them more possibilities. after a meeting in wimbledon I arrived in @cafe_mori for a light lunch. bambus was used for decoration. it created a peaceful zen atmosphere and it is a really good place to relax. what i got
I stayed here in May for a quick lunch and I really enjoyed the meal. I had a tasty gyudon for which I waited nothing more than a few minutes. The place is also really calm and relaxing, and even if it looks a bit tiny, it’s actually plenty of tables where you can enjoy your meal or your drink. The nicest thing is indeed the atmosphere, which recreates perfectly the look of the cutest Japanese cafes. Also the guys are really kind and welcoming, so kudos to them. Way to go!
A Japanese chiffon sponge cake is my preference these days because they are 1) lighter and 2) not laden with overly sweet buttercream. Cafe Mori serves just that and what a delectable selection they have! I was lured in by the Earl Grey cake and lavender latte £7.50 in total. There is an additional charge for dining in the cafe but for the atmosphere, it's worth it. I could really savour the taste of the tea in the sponge. As for the latte, it had an unexpected saltiness. I didn't sense the aroma of lavender and probably would not get this drink again. If I'm in the area, I'll be back to sample the other cakes!
