Ritters Weinstuben - Merseburg

Had an 8 people business dinner here starting 8PM. Service was exquisite, food correct temperatures. They have the asperges special meals which are terrific or you may choose out of a variety of main courses or fixed price menus. We were seated in a private room and enjoyed each other's company at a round table. We may have been a bit loud but we could not here other guests so I assume we did not disturb them.Great experience. Also good spot for couples, as can be romantic destination.Park underground at the square for convenience.

We went with a group of 11 people. The food was very good quality and very tasty. While this place is more on the higher priced side for Merseburg it is well worth a visit. The menu is relatively unorganized but still everyone can find something. Most of us had the steak and it was well liked. Fish was also good as was the Guinea fowl. The service is friendly but a little slow with larger parties.

The fall menu offers goose in a variety of dishes. I had the stuffed goose leg with red cabbage. A goose consommé as a starter. Very delicious. Attentive service.

Despite a wine selection limited to just 3 local wine makers, this place offers good food, well prepared, and served in a nice atmosphere. Pleasant covered garden inside.
