Coldwater Cafe - Merritt

My husband and I always stop at the Coldwater Hotel's restaurant while driving through or staying in Merritt. The hotel was built in and the restaurant reflects the age of the building in its quaint, funky appearance. The service is always small-town friendly, the...quality of the food is always surprisingly superb, and portions are very generous. Two thumbs up for this establishment. We will keep returning!

Well to put it in simple terms, TERRIBLE. We had the chow mein which was one of the worst we've had, also had the rueben with soup. The soup shared a plate with the rube so the spillage was soaked up by the sandwich, the...main event in the sandwich was the sauerkraut and mustard with hints of corned beer and cheese that didn't come close to swiss. Other than that the service was pretty bad but I have to accept that most places are hurting for employees.

My experience dining at the Coldwater Hotel pub was delightful. The food was delicious, portions were plentiful, and the prices were reasonable. The service was warm and quick. Although the Coldwater Hotel was constructed in [insert year], the interior has been updated to contemporary standards, yet retains charming original features like the tin ceiling.

This place is fantastic service is excellent, prices more than fair food was delicious hot and fast ...and portions are huge..well worth leaving the highway for!!

I had a fantastic experience at the Coldwater Hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants. The portions were generous and the atmosphere was delightful. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive.
