Nando's Flame Grilled Chicken

My first time in Australia... just too many choices to make in terms of food, so I decided to trust the advertisement of Nando's being the best grilled chicken. I asked if I could have the leg part but they served the breast part which was rather dry and seemingly overcooked. I was told that I should have ordered the peri-peri which is what they were famous for. Maybe that's true, but why put the lemon grass chicken in the menu to disappoint. All in all, it tasted fast food. Perhaps it was just the wrong choice.

Its a family favourite, so handy to our accommodation. My son was happy, just a 7 minute walk compared to a half hr drive we do at home.

We stopped off at Nando's for lunch and I was just after something light. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken tenderloins and it was first class.

Ordered a pocket with thigh meat and coleslaw. There was about 3 pieces [cubes] of chicken down the bottom with a teaspoon of caramelised onion, with a tasteless pile of cabbage only white coleslaw on top. Not very tasty at all. The chips weren't freshly cooked, in fact they seemed stale and were obviously reheated and kept warm for a few hours, pretty disappointed overall. Went early on a Thursday about 5, it wasn't busy.

Good location , quick service. Quite a large place and never had trouble getting a seat and meals come out quickly.
