My favourite bar in the world. They have good caipirinha and the best passion fruit Martini

Looking online for a dessert and cocktail bar and this popped up. Honestly it was like going to moes tavern off the simpsons minus the pickled eggs on the counter. The balcony allowed smoking which just came straight back into the bar. Ordered the ice cream cocktail cones, pretty sure they forgot some of the alcohol and the “waffle cones” were Woolies stubbie cones. Which made the biggest mess of life all over the table as they weren’t sealed properly to hold liquid. It was a horrible waste of time and money. Don’t bother.

We had a booking for 5, when we arrived we were told that it was too busy and could not go in.

Lustre is a really cute bar, it was great to have booked so we could sit in the comfy couches. Fantastic columbian singer/ guitarist played while we were there. A few more food options would improve things the snack menu very basic. Only down side was breathing the smoke from people on the open balcony. I'm not sure why that was allowed

If I could give this restaurant 100 stars, I would. Tucked away behind a nondescript door in an alley, it may be hard to find, especially at night. The drinks are delicious and inventive, and everything on the menu is top-notch. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about their craft. Be sure to have your camera ready, as the atmosphere is perfect for some great photos. Keep in mind that there is no wifi, but that shouldn't deter you from enjoying a great meal. I walked in without a reservation on a Thursday night and had a fantastic experience.
