Skinny's Smokehouse - Medicine Hat

We were at the hotel over the street and instead of going to a chain restaurant, we thought we would support the locals. Big mistake! Food was barely passable and if we let our server know that the sweet potatoes were delivered cold to the table, the spare friars were burned out of the kitchen. Not impressed! The server was the only pleasant part of our visit and she looked after us as good as she had with what she had. The place was quite empty. Steer away from this place, it had potential, but it is very lacking.

It looked so promising... I have made an order for the trip, as I stayed right on the street at the hotel. I placed my order at 18:10 and finally got it at 18:55. When I opened the containers 5 minutes later, the whole food BARELY was warm. What a disappointment.... The frits for the burger were laughingly small, the Brisket reminded me more of a pot roast, and the "double meat" we got for the chicken legs were 3 small dry legs. They seemed disorganized, and there is nothing more discouraging than ordering your food, watching that others come behind you, take their seats, order their food, and are served 20-30 minutes before you take off your cold. I was trying to go back and ask for my money back, but I'm not sure they would do anything. Sorry... wouldn't be back.

Order Brisket Philly cheese steak with buffalo flower page. The cauliflower wasn't warm. I didn't see fresh. Prefabricated product. Hoagie Bungalow seemed to be sitting from frozen and left. Dry all the way. That's how the scuba sauce wouldn't even take in it. Brisket hadn't made a lot of fat out of him yet. I love the support of independent restaurants, but this is unbearable

We had dinner at Skinny's Smoke House on Thursday night. with another pair. The restaurant was not busy at all and our server was a pleasure to interact with. I had baked the 2x2 meal with BBQ Brisket and chicken with sides of the South Slav and beans. It was delicious. Very recommended!!!

Excellent serve fast and great food. We ordered the 3 by 3 combo . Came out super quick . Would recommend and prices very reasonable
