Southern Fried - McAllen

Southern cooking at its finest! This place has some of the best fried catfish and shrimp I've ever had. Light, well-seasoned batter and not at all oily. Bobbie and crew make everyone feel welcomed. Hopefully we can all help drum up more business for this new eatery. I think once you've tried it, you'll be back!

Had seen this little place and been wanting to try it. I am so glad i did. The fish was perfectly cooked, so flaky, the crust, the seasoning are just right. Only wish they would add fried okra, zucchini or mushrooms as sides. Definitely going back!!!

Homemade feeling, delicious fish worth comming just for that, but the shrimp and chicken tenders are great also! Everything made to order. For the sides, even my 5year old daughter loved the col slaw. Definetly a regular place for us now!

Fried fish that reminded me of fish fries in Louisiana. Well seasoned corn meal, not too thick, fried just right. Beans were on point, and shrimp was excellent. Even the leftovers I took home and ate cold were good.

It's one of best places I've been to in a long time ..food and services are truly southern hospitality...the catfish and the shrimp are the bomb..come and check them out..
