Serene - Mbarara

I was at Hotel Serene for 8 nights. This hotel is safe, clean, modern and well equipped. Internet is available with the hotel's own PC. A very good breakfast is served in the restaurant.

They have amole parking space, price is affordable and workers try to give the best service

Serena Kigali is a beautiful environment to visit. Good food and calm place but very expensive especially if you're a foreigner. Its however, nice to check out and relax your mind.

The hotel is situated within walking distance to the taxi and bus parks, the banks, Mbarara's central business district, etc. I have stayed in this hotel each time I visit Mbarara since 2015. After a long day cooped up in conference rooms, walking to your desired destination is a welcome balm to the body. In addition to it's convenient location I'm extremely impressed with the impeccable cleanlines of the guest rooms. They continously amaze me with subtle additions and beautiful innovations of the rooms. Parking is just outside the establishment but secure. Prices for accommodation are within the normal rates of such hotels in town, ranging from Ug.Shs 80, 000 per night including breakfast. Do not however expect a variety of TV channels in the rooms. Breakfast is a treat if you insist on your preferred choices but dinner is nothing to write home about. The staff are fairly invisible but polite and helpful when they finally appear. The evenings are filled with noise from the loud music of neighbouring establishments, but the nights are fairly serene.
