We got the 7th avenue bomber (meatball, pep, sliced sausage, bacon, salami, capicola) and a double pepperoni with extra cheese. Sauce is a homemade tomato sauce with a hint of spice and the crust (new york style) is out of this world, fluffy, yet chewy crunchy. The garlic knots were great too! 100% recommend this place if you're in the area!!
The pizza was enormous. The large is twice as big as a large elsewhere: Far too big for my family of four. As a result, it was more than we usually spend for pizza. The taste was not as good as national chains. I 'm not sure why this place is so highly rated.
I've been looking for authentic NY pizza since moving here 30 years ago. Stumble on this in my own backyard today with a friend from Long Island. It's legit NY/NJ style floppy pizza. Tony is there and a great guy. Will return regularly!Food: 5/5
Truly the best pizza you can get around here! Honestly, even just their cheese pizza, I can 't get enough of it. Even my partner who doesn 't like pizza much, LOVES this place. It 's just awesome. The sauce, the crust, the toppings. Everything. You can 't even compare this to La rosa 's or papa johns or any of these other pizza places around here, because this is authentic! Will be our go to pizza place we 'll go to from now on.
I used to drive across town for Tony's and the food was always great. They young girl checking out is rude. Also when I paid I was told pick one (a tip) I looked at her and said a tip and was rudely told pick one again. So not tipping was not an option??? If it's on the screen it's very small and hard to see. I don't mind the price of pizza look we get an xl Halsey but I felt like I was forced to tip. I won't be back she's been there the last 3 times and she's rude. I picked up and I dont like there was no option to not tip and forced to tip. Tipping for a pick up is NOT inflation.... if she's family better hope she ain't taking over some day
