Eggette Hut Dàn Zǐ Mì Yǔ - Markham

A pretty interesting menu with lots of great custard-filled HK-style egg waffles. Great flavors. Awesome selections of Taiwanese iced drinks as well. Can order waffles and drinks together as combos. Quick and easy treats in the FMP Plaza, away from the food court right beside the south side mall entrance (close to Ding Tai Fung). Recommended!

I would like to give a strong recommendation for this establishment, as it deserves a rating of 4.5 stars. The only minor setback is that they cater exclusively to cash transactions, which prevents me from awarding them a full 5-star rating. However, I must highlight the excellence of their salted egg yolk and mochi waffles.

Their salted eggettes are soooooo good. Sweet and salty and crispy and soft at the same time. Pair with a drink for a discount! Highly recommend if you want a snack. Only con is that they take cash only.

Best eggette in town. Ordered original and salted duck yolk they were both delicious!I personally like them crisper so I asked to bake them longer so they would be more crunchy! Will come back! So good! So good! And the wait time was reasonable considering so many people are in line.

Does NOT have any signs that it’s cash only. How am I supposed to know it’s cash only when there’s no sign. Plus the workers could explain it better that it’s cash only. It’s 2023, either put up a sign or be better.
