Jaggis Cafe - Marakkanam

Nice artifacts, organic materials, and woodcrafts available here, though a bit expensive.

Jaggis cafe is a new spot for snacks and refresh. It also has a shop which gives a wide variety for gifting ideas as well shopping ideas. In the frontage, plants shop is also there.

Cute little place on the highway. The breakfast was not being served when we reached. The store that sells some very unique stuff was open. Some of the items were reasonably priced. We did find samosas as a refreshing change of snacks and sugar cane juice.

The best driveway restaurant for sure towards Pondy. Must try’s: cheese chilli toast is the best I have ever had. I liked the Dahi Papdi Chat. Pros: 1. Best service, cleanliness and peaceful place on your drive. 2. Good coffee and other snacks are also available on the go. Cons: 1. Very expense things to buy showpiece or interior things. 2. Sometimes washrooms are not clean.

Good cafe eatery with a gift shop on the ECR highway between Chennai and Pondicherry; good food and good ambience
