We had a wonderful and unique lunch at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and polite, offering exceptional service in a cozy setting. They also have a great selection of items available for sale in their store. We will certainly be coming back!

We ordered two Cuban sandwiches and a poutine for lunch. The sandwiches were flavorful, but the highlight of the meal was definitely the cheese—truly delightful! They also have a range of other local dishes on offer. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

The cheese was delicious, and the staff were friendly, but the service was lacking. Be prepared for a long wait at the cash register just to view the lunch menu. The prices are quite steep, especially considering the only service provided is when they bring your food to the table. They don't check in on you to see if everything is okay. In fact, my meal arrived 20 minutes before my girlfriend's, and there was no apology for the delay. Do they even care? I’m not so sure. Additionally, the portion sizes were on the smaller side.

The food was simply amazing! I ordered the Cubano sandwich and a corn and shrimp chowder, both of which were perfectly seasoned and creamy—just what you want on a rainy day in Maple Ridge. I appreciated that both the outdoor and heated patios welcomed dogs, which was a lovely perk for my puppy. I also sampled the crème brûlée gelato; it was rich and smooth, but the flavor didn't really grab my attention. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

I highly recommend the cheese chive muffin—it was truly outstanding! The mac and cheese was just average, so I'll likely try something different on my next visit. However, what really makes this place special is the atmosphere. Enjoying a meal on the porch with lovely views and a gentle breeze was a real pleasure. I also noticed that they have heaters for cooler days, which is a nice addition.
