My son's pizza was very good with a light crispy base, my pasta dish with truffle oil and egg was hearty and flavoursome, my daughter selected a ravioli dish which she enjoyed and my wife's choice was duck tagliarini also good. Loses marks for front of house service (don't like being kept waiting while the guy at the front takes multiple calls from customers wanting to book for later and the price is a little expensive for what it is. Anyhow, it did the job for a Sataurday afternoon family lunch.
Manresa is not a hot touristic destination, but its Basilica de Santa Maria is definitely worth a visit. Finding a lunch place after the brief tour around the town on Sunday turned out to be a challenging task. We were glad to find La Tagliatella – a chick Italian restaurant on one of the major streets (Muralla del Carme, 18). The place is heavily decorated with Italy-inspired pictures and designer elements. Pizza selection is remarkable and pizzas we ordered were razor-thin and very tasty. Our salad was great too. All accompanied by an efficient and friendly service.
This is the second La Tag that we have eaten at. It felt like walking into the same one as Lleida. Same great food and the pineapple soup just as great as the first time. The staff is really good and one said that there are 100 or so of them. pumpkin ravs still my fav!!
