The Haywain - Manningtree

Has a very good meal at Lunchtime. Would like to return of an evening when the fire is blazing and a bit more atmosphere but would definitely visit again.

We had breakfast here today, and it's officially become a regular spot for us. The atmosphere is perfect for lingering and chatting without feeling rushed. I ordered the veggie breakfast, which included feta waffles, eggs, fresh plums (not artificially colored), mushrooms, and beans, all accompanied by a large pot of tea that was refilled for free. My friend had a bacon sandwich made with thick, nutty brown bread, real butter, and good ketchup, along with tea and extra toast. All of this came to just £16! The roaring log fire and excellent, friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

The dining experience here is truly exceptional; I've never had a bad meal. It has become one of our go-to spots. The waitstaff is incredibly attentive and always willing to help. I'm always happy to visit, especially since they are dog-friendly!

I just had a wonderful meal at The Haywain and can highly recommend the bark and ale cake.

A beautiful environment and great eating. very friendly staff. highly recommended. cozy, friendly, real fire, real restaurant quality eat. we will be back
