Whitebark Restaurant Lounge In The Westin

Two times. first time in the restaurant area. service was excellent. wein suggestion very good. both orders were overwhelmed. the menu is quite limited, but fair. prices for hotel restaurants. second visit in the bar. lighter are defective and flash. very annoying. bartender was very loud thrown empty into the bin and rack. surprising to hear so much noise from a Westin bar. Bar menu is small but tasty. had the tacos and salat. instead of expensive.

We went there last night while we were staying at the Westin Monache Resort. The staff seemed very overwhelmed and busy. I imagine they have staffing shortages like everywhere else currently does too. The bartenders were very rude, and acted like they did not want our business. We stood there 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged. The DAOU wine was very fairly priced, 13$ a glass. I wouldn’t recommend this bar, very poor customer service. Not what you would expect at this high end resort.

Everything was terrible! It started with really bad service the waitress brought some of the drinks and seemed to forgot about the other drinks. we had to flag a different waiter to grab out drinks. I ordered the salmon -a $32 dish that looked like it was cooked by a 1st grader the fish was dry and the risotto had raw cubes of carrots bell peppers. my friends ordered the mushroom ravioli and what to ended up receiving was undercooked ravioli in brown water the taste was worse than its looks.

Bartender was great when he wasn’t waiting tables. Waitress was nice but didn’t see her much since she was supporting maybe a third of the restaurant. Food was TERRIBLE. They sent out pan seared fish … except they never actually cooked it, it was completely raw. Chicken was over cooked to the point where it was like eating sawdust. Bernaise sauce was so minimally whisked you could see raw egg yolk. Very disappointing evening.

Had a reservation and got there on time… order our food and hour and a half later…no food… kept telling us in 10 more min…we order an appetizer and it was small, flavorless and not even good…
