Donair Town - Makaoo (Part)

Comfort Food. Love this place in Port Moody! It's my regular go to place when I don't feel like cooking but want to eat something delicious and homemade. The owner isn't chatty, but he's sincere and once you get to know him he has a good sense of humor.<br/ <br/ I always alternate between the Chicken Shawarma Plate, Lamb Donair and the Chicken on Fries... All taste great you can't go wrong...<br/ <br/ They are very generous with their portions, the food is fresh and prices are good.

Very good. The food is very good here. Yes the owner is not very chatty but that does not change the fact that the food is very good.

Great 'I 'm hungery for a solid dinner ' food!. Our family goes there every week, it 's one of our favorites... we usually go for dinner and get two large chicken platters. This includes a large portion of yellow rice, chicken, and salad with bread.<br/ <br/ We split the two platters, so the whole family (2 adults, 6 10 year old kids) can eat a hearty dinner for $20.<br/ <br/ The owner is quiet but friendly, and often smiles and chats a little when we come in asking how we 've been doing.<br/ <br/ All of the reviewers complaining because he 's not jumping up and down and putting on a show of being 'super friendly '... this is a little restaurant with great food and the owner himself working long hours to make that great food... if you want 'rah rah ' go to Starbucks instead, but you won 't get this kind of food there!<br/ <br/ As I said, we love the food, and we 're always looking forward to our next visit.

This place is awesome! Best donairs around. Owners not a talkative guy which is fine by me. Try the jumbo lamb Lebanese.

Great Donair. The owner does have pleasant moments but he isnt the friendliest but the Donair is OUTSTANDING.... we get mixed plates as a take out and enjoy them every single time. At least you can say he doesnt put on a false happiness for tips???
