We ordered quite a few things and the chef kept track and altered some of the dishes based on what we have ordered before, not quite omasake as we didn’t ask for it but still the chef kept track which is quite impressive on a busy restaurant I am more of a purist when it comes to Japanese food but i have to say that some of their Spanish inspire dishes are worth trying and the part which was pure and simple was of excellent quality so you have the best of both worlds
This is a high quality upscale hotel restaurant with matching athmosphere and prices. I went here with my group of colleagues after finding this on happycow. It was a huge disappointment in terms of vegetarian friendliness. -The items on the menu are not marked veg/ nog veg. -After I asked for the veg options they were extremely limited -The suprise menu my group asked for consisted of 10 items, of which I could only eat 3. My group decided to order a surprise menu, and the waiter took all dietary request, including my veg request. The group received 3 !!! rounds of food items to be shared before something veg was served for me. How can this happen in an upscale place? Completely unacceptable. The group received a total of 10 different items, I received 3. The waiter had decided that it's a good idea to let me wait and see how everyone eats before serving a huge bowl of salty and fatty fried rice during the last round. A truly hospitable place should gives someone with a dietary request a treatment that matches the experience to the rest of the group. This was worthless.
The vegetarian/vegan menu offered some tasty vegan food. With 35€ a little pricey but I think this is fine for an in-hotel High quality restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
