Contribuiți la feedbackWe have been coming here for years. The same and only family has ran this restaurant for 42 years. Mama Vitale still works everyday and makes the best meatballs. They are the best in town.
There were 4 in our group and all of us thought our food was excellent. We were there on Homecoming night and despite being short-staffed for that reason, our wait was reasonable and the service was excellent. The lasagna portion was a tad smallerthan we would have liked, but the other pasta dishes were plentiful and delicious. Would definitely go back if I'm in the areaagain.
Personally I had the bow tie pasta with a gorgonzola cream sauce which was absolutely delicious and now that I think about it it was a huge portion which is always nice however the server was sweet but a bit of a airhead we got 8 oz glasses of soda andwater. There was a hair in the minestrone soup it took 17 minutes to bring half of the order out and they were four of us at thetable. She never brought us any more beverage she never checked on us and when I asked the lady at the cash register to pleaseremove the bowl of soup from our bill she was extremely rude come to find out she was the owner obviously she doesn 't carebecause she 's one ofthe only Italian restaurant around here I told her I was probably not going to come back here and she said good ... Then when my guest asked for her bow tie carbonara to go which she ordered when we placed our orders at the table. Itwasn 't ready they gave her spaghetti instead of bowtie pasta and they said well that 's how it comes ... Now I have only workedin one American restaurant in my 30-year career. All the rest of them were Italian restaurants I happen to know that the pastausually is already pre-cooked and all you have to do is put the portion in some boiling hot water what 's the difference if it 'sbowtie or spaghetti give the guests the kind of pasta that they want. And then my guest who happens to be in a wheelchair and isa amputee, was asked to wait outside because her wheelchair was taking up too much room 92° by the way that 's one of theproblems with not having competition in this town people will settle for adequate accommodations service etc. Don 't get mewrong, I 've been to vitales a few times in my 3 years in Macomb and I was not disappointed except for the decor which is veryblase and dated. Get rid of those dried plastic flowers all over the place. Talk about tacky but what does she care
Short and simple: absolutely delicious! More details: I ordered delivery last Friday, and was BLOWN AWAY by the awesome flavor and freshness of my meal and so, I ordered more today! I had Mostaccioli with Meat Balls, Broccoli and meat Sauce and itwas delicious. the meat balls were LARGE and very tasty and the broccoli was crunchy yet juicy (super fresh and the meal was areal joy to eat. Garlic bread was included, too. their delivery was fast and the food arrived hot and on-time! (definitelybetter than when I had food Dashed to my Door! Food was FRESH and the portions were VERY generous! (VERY satisfying! Allthis and it was still LESS-cost (by $10 than having, even, Micky-D 's Dashed to my Door! (Great value! I plan to order fromhere once (or more a week!
Horrible, Poor quality food. Minimal lettuce in the dinner salad. Pizza was cold. Barely any meat on the supreme pizza. Green peppers thrown on top not cooked. Cheese was cold. Soggy crust. Don?t bother visiting. See photo. Waiter was less than happy.Zero stars
