Disappointing, although team was friendly enough. Other tables with tour groups certainly were enjoying and loving it with special attention and food preparation which is why we had mixed feelings. The reviews suggested great wines and great service, but our experience was wine was average and more expensive than elsewhere and meat and cheese platter to accompany a few glasses of wine before Puccini concert was dry, without usual condiments of olive oil, vinegar or honey. Surprising as these items in Italy are usually good everywhere

Tucked away on the route from Napoleon Piazza to the Duomo we stopped for lunch. Generous sandwiches on a choice of fresh bread with garnish. You could share a sandwich between two! Attentive service while watching the world go by.

Tried 3 wines as part of a wine tasting deal. The servers were very knowledgeable about the wines (in English as well-very impressive! , and all were from the Lucca area.

Bad experience. the lady was almost unable to speak Italian. when we showed surprise for this, he asked us with a certain arrogance: is it a problem!? '. We said it wasn't a problem. but we smiled at the situation: be luxuriant but not be able to speak Italian. to our smiles of discomfort and embarrassment, the lady has found no better than showing us and sending us away, stating that she no longer wanted to serve us.

They didn't have my favorite wine, but for the rest the environment is very nice
