Contribuiți la feedbackIt was really good! We've never been before and asked the staff to get what. They were very friendly and hit really great options. The gyro was so good. We also have the chicken swarm and it was AMAZING. 10/10
The Gyros has hardly any meat on them, literally 3 shavings. The tzatziki has no cucumber or dill in it and for some reason does Horseradish have? The fries were not seasoned at all and the restaurant was dirty! We are from Chicago (home of the Greek city) and have Greek family members, so we have a lot of familiarity with good Greek dishes. At least the name is true, it is clearly only Greek for the owners. Don't go here if you're looking for good Greek food!
Pretty sure the place is a money laundering front. Imagine, 6:30pm on a Friday evening my daughters and I walked into this place. First off, it 's quite warm inside which was immediately noticeable, as I was expecting to get a break from the 102 degrees outside. The second thing I noticed was that, of the 5 people in the place, sitting at four different locations, no one had any food,, or drink, or anything else that would identify them as a patron of a restaurant, nor did anyone even acknowledge our presence.. Not a single person even looked at us. The creep vibe was on big time. Not an employee in sight either. My daughters and I approached the counter to order. There was no one at the counter, and no one ever came. Then I noticed that the digital display on the old cash register was displaying closed . My daughters were already uncomfortable and this prompted me to immediately turn and head towards the exit. Again, not a single patron even looked up from their phone. As we were scooting on out of the joint, I couldn 't help but recall the diner scene from Pulp Fiction. We spent a total of 3 minutes in the place, but that was enough to convince me never to return.
I have been eating here for years. Sam has the best hummus, lemon chicken soup, beef kafta kabobs, gyros, actually try all the Greek foods offered there. He takes pride in his food and it is reflected in the taste and quality. Did I mention Sam is one of the nicest people you will ever meet?
Without a doubt our favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Lubbock and honestly best we?ve ever had elsewhere. Incredibly nice owner and super friendly environment. The food was unbelievably good. The falafel was perfect consistency without being dry and flavored wonderfully. The schwarma was perfect. The hummus delicious and gyro to die for. All the ingredients were fresh and you can definitely tell.
