Gary's On Spring - Louisville

Eating was amazing and the menu had a very good choice. our server was helpful and very nice throughout the meal. we will return to gary soon!

What I most appreciate at gary’s on jump is the ambiente. we wanted a table out of the way and we have a quiet table in an alcove that was perfect. nice eating, sweet waiting staff and good wine. perfect.

Gary's is one of our favorite restaurants. The food and service has always been great. Another plus is the noise level is low and you can actually have a conversation with the people at your table without shouting.

I went there for a Valentine's dinner with my significant other. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir and the server served my boyfriend a taste, and not me. When my boyfriend said he liked it, he began pouring us both glasses without regard to my preference. At one point, he knocked the silverware off the table at the adjoining table. His face was bright red and he was dripping sweat through the entire dinner, appearing to be intoxicated. At the end, instead of putting the check at the center of the table or asking who would like to pay, he simply handed the check directly to my boyfriend. In retrospect, I should have insisted on paying and left the jerk a $0 tip. He was sexist and offensive, and this type of behavior is unacceptable at a restaurant like this. Furthermore, I found my meal downright unpleasant. This was the worst dining experience I have had at a restaurant in this price range, and I will not return.
