Really enjoy the Vegan choices here, damn you Lactose intolerance! friendly service, a bit slow at times if busy, but acceptable for the end result. They also sell some killer Vegan cookies, so worth two visits! Parking is a challenge, and the parking around the corner is for other businesses, and is well policed. Road parking, best of luck! worth a walk though, and have never been when its empty, so that's a good sign. LA pricing, but not hideously so.

Craft ice cream shop scooping creative flavors. With your standard ice cream in their cases sitting next to excellent vegan options, Van Leeuwen has something for everyone. You can always grab a pint from your local market, but there is something special when getting served on a cone.

The pumpkin cheesecake ice cream is to die for. One scoop definitely isn’t enough! Service is absolutely awesome. Definitely coming back!!

Delicious ice cream. I also ways get the chocolate chip cherry flavor. It is more expensive than most but a great treat!

Double scoop in a waffle cone cookies and cream birthday cake 5 ! Van Leeuwen started in NY fifteen years ago and expanded into LA a while ago. They are one of many wonderful ice cream places to visit and enjoy a sweet treat. Their ice cream is rich and creamy and packed with flavor. They also have a robust selection of non dairy options. The waffle cone was amazing and very fresh. There is a core menu of popular flavors, and they rotate in special flavors. I know I can get their ice cream in lots of LA grocery stores, but I'm always more interested in visiting the actual scoop shops. This location is in an area with tricky parking. I can't admit openly where I parked to stop by.
