It is a beautiful environment where you can celebrate a special occasion. The staff was great and very attentive. I was amazed when I studied the wine list on the iPad, and randomly click on a wine to check it, the sommelier appeared and asked me with name if I knew more about this wine. All in our group were super satisfied, with the exception of our one beef snob, which had to send his middle rib eyes back for a rarer one. Unfortunately, he couldn't finish it and my 2nd daughter and I shaved it next night. I had the sea bass that was excellent. It was a very large part and absolutely fantastic. Everyone was super happy with food and service, BUT THE MOST AMAZING PART WAS THE VIEW. After 3 months of constant rain we were lucky to have a beautiful clear sky and view from the Pacific Ocean to the mountains, to the south and to the east. We even saw Dodger Stadium at the opening night. Everyone left the table to explore and enjoy at any time, and the staff was sooooo accommodating and helped us make family photos. Although it's my 80. Birthday was and it probably cost more than my parents pay on their first house in the 1930s, It was a very special evening we still talk about.
Excellent food, especially steak; great service and of course can not beat the view!
My cocktail was not properly balanced; Glass seemed half filled. Salad was good, but economical; Citrus supplement consisted of a very small segment of grapefruit. The timing between salad and duck was extremely long. The server came out a couple of times to comment that our food pride is directly out.
The kitchen was slow and the food was way overpriced for the offering. Million dollar view, but that was really the only decor. No complaints about the staff.
