Contribuiți la feedbackI've have my fair share of Korean soups and stews, but this spot takes the crown!! We got there on a Saturday afternoon and it was buzzing! They have a small lot in the back and nearby street parking, but everything was packed. We ended up parking a block or two away. Their team handled the wait super well! There were a lot of parties, but everyone was so efficient in handling everything. Uber impressed that the wait wasn't bad at all, considering how busy they were. The interior is also really pretty, taking inspiration from traditional Korean houses. Now onto the soups!! Dwaeji Gukbap (Pork soup with steamed rice): 100000/5 It's their most popular soup on the menu for a reason!! It's a clear soup that comes with a glob of gochujang, noodles, and slices of meat. Add in your chives and salt or salted shrimp to taste! SO DECLIOUS! It's very hearty, filling, and warm, but doesn't leave you feeling heavy. This broth was just too good. Yukgaejang (Spicy beef soup with shredded beef brisket): 4.5/5 Yukgaejang is a personal favorite for me and this hit the spot! Do note that this portion was a lot bigger than the pork soup! Lots of meat, vegggies, glass noodles, and egg. You can't go wrong with this pick!
I was craving Korean cold noodle and found Jinsol Gukbap LA. It's got beautiful, traditional decor inside and offers a variety of Korean dishes. When I visited they had indoor seating and outdoor seating patio at the rear of the restaurant. Parking is also in the rear and the security guard is incredibly kind : While they specialize in gukbap, I came for the mul naengmyun (cold noodles . It was DELICIOUS! It was a hot day and after eating I was shivering with joy I'll definitely be back to try their other dishes!
The menu may be small, but it definitely exceeded all my expectations. This place is truly a hidden gem. I would highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious Korean food.
? south korea via eat the world los angeles) the bright wood panels and the detailing of the shop keep everything warm and comfortable even in colder weather, the perfect place to enjoy gukbap. the style of the gukbapsuppet with rice) perfected here is the famous dwaeji gukbap from busan, south Korea's second largest city. surprising for such a diverse koreatown, dwaeji gukbap $15.95) is kind of hard to find and the city has been lucky to have these specialists.
Big korean pork soup restaurant! it has several suppenwahlen and entrée to choose for them. the price is decent. they will open up early and late! however, if they expect a good service, they may not be able to walk their place here. the server are in the rush all the time, and I had hard time to communicate because some of them don't understand completely English
