Bricks And Scones - Los Angeles

Just came for first time based on other reviews. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of work space for laptops and outlets. WiFi seems good. Overall recommended. Only little issue is prices for food were rather obnoxious. I get isn't McDons but 13 bucks for egg sandwich or twenty for Eggs Benedict seems high. Seems to be the best place for working on laptop for an afternoon.

Great spot for coffee and food. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I would recommend it for meet-up with friends, reading and studying

I only gave it a five-star rating for atmosphere because there was no six. If you love the beauty of nature, you’d love it here.

Went there over the weekend seeking some nice scones. The place looks lovely from the outside and the scones themselves were alright. Being in such a nice area and having such a lovely building the execution of this store could have been a lot better. The use of single use plates and utensils, along with the fast food buzzer to let you know that your food is ready for collection made the place feel more like a fast food outlet then the nice place for tea that it should be. Although the scones were nice, the omelet, juice and coffee was below par. Scones were served with butter and not clotted cream which would have made them a lot better. Parking was very difficult to find. Warning to patrons not to park in the set of shops next door as the hair/nail salon owner is very vocal about this.
