Contribuiți la feedbackTERRIFIC southeast Asian cuisine. VERY high quality food for the price point. Only issue I had was the price of the fry bread. 2 pieces should be $5, 4 should be $10. Although charging $10 for 2 pieces is probably testament to how high quality the food is. Two thumbs up, even considering that??Food: 5/5
Ordered the sate ayam (chicken satay on the menu). Tasted great and the rest of the party also liked the food! Portions were very generous. Only gripe was that they accepted cash only, but they did tell us that as soon as we walked in the door. I also discovered that I’m mildly allergic to peanuts, but that’s not their fault lol.Food: 4/5
Summary: delicious food, friendly staff, would come backHaving visited Uncle Fung Borneo Eatery on multiple occasions, I can confidently say it has become one of my go to places, and my absolute favorite dish there is the #19 Borneo Rice Plate. This dish consists of fragrant coconut rice, sliced Chinese BBQ, crispy fried chicken, and a marinated egg a truly mouthwatering combination. What's even better is that the portion size is quite generous.Their website offers the convenience of online orders, and they even have a rewards program in place, which is a nice touch. However, it's worth noting that they do charge a convenient fee for this service. One thing to keep in mind is that lunchtime can get pretty busy at Uncle Fung Borneo Eatery, so it's advisable to plan accordingly and possibly expect a bit of a wait. Additionally, parking can be a bit challenging due to limited spaces.
We absolutely loved our meal at Uncle Fungs Borneo restaurant. The place is colorful and lively, and the service was excellent. We both ordered the Borneo rice plate, and it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The rice plate had a fragrant coconut rice with a spicy curry sauce, chicken, beef, sausage, egg, and vegetables. The flavors were complex and balanced, and the portions were huge. I also liked the complimentary soup that came with the meal. It was a feast for the senses and the stomach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different and delicious. 5/5 stars.
Uncle Fung opened since 1975. It was closed due to Covid. Now reopens. The food was very authentic Malaysian/Indonesian/Singaporean, basically Southeast Asian.Good tasting, good spices, BUT too salty!!!!We told the serving staff, and he responded very positively to notifying the cooks. Very polite servers.Nasi Lamak was very good, except you need to order the one you like 2 selections.Laksa was very good.I only give 4* as the highest rating. No one gets 5* because no one is perfect, only Christ.Try Uncle Fung, you'll like it.
