Granny Annies - Londonderry

I called ahead to confirm if they had vegan options and was told there was a nice curry and a burger available. However, when we arrived, there were no vegan options at all. Several servers were wearing different vegetarian options and seemed unaware of the distinction. One server even brought out a prawn dish, mistakenly labeled as vegetarian. I would strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. This is an update to my previous review from October 11, 2021.

The restaurant could benefit from offering more menu options and better advertising those choices, or perhaps introducing a dedicated vegan menu.

We inquired about their vegan menu, but it took some time for them to locate it. When the waiter finally returned, only two out of the four options listed were actually available. This left us with just a veggie wrap or a salad with sun-dried tomatoes for dinner. Additionally, the waiter was unable to explain why the herbal curry listed on the main menu wasn't considered vegan. Unsatisfied, we decided to leave.

Large establishment excellent decor friendly helpful staff.Food was just ok due to it being transported from above floor it wasn't hot.Live Music was really good followed by DJ.Toilets are a camal ride. Still had a grate night

Disappointed too book for my son at 06.30pm today only to be told the kitchen closed at seven!! Came the whole way from Belfast and couldn't even order a dessert ,ordered beef not available so got steak and send the wrong sauce!!! Will give it a miss the next time he's in Derry. Happy New year.
