The best BA chips I've ever had! But then again, I'm American, so what do I really know?

The Artillery Arms is a lovely oasis pub that has maintained its charm from a bygone era, transforming it into a well-run and personalized establishment today. It boasts a superb selection of premium beers from a well-stocked cellar. The pub seems to attract a loyal clientele, enhanced by modern pricing that complements the inviting atmosphere of this small yet uniquely decorated space. On my last visit, I was captivated by the charming brick decor and the outstanding staff. During this recent visit, I enjoyed the company I was with while observing the skilled employees expertly handling the bar service. It was once again a delightful evening, and I will definitely return—having been a patron since the 1980s.

The restaurant has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, featuring large windows that let in plenty of light. It’s a great spot for reading or having conversations with friends. They serve cold beer, and it's a nice mix of locals and office workers.

We reserved the upper floor for a Henne Party of 14 ladies, perfect for a few quiet drinks and games before heading to our evening venue. The room was ideal, allowing us to connect a phone for our own music. The staff was extremely helpful in the lead-up to our event. A big thank you to James and his team!

The Artillery Arms Old Street Barbican Attractive small traditional corner pub with two drinking places both side of the bar. A great glass. Full pub so you know what you get. London Pride on Tap among others. The pub is located opposite a cemetery and, depending on where you come, most easily reached by just passing through the middle of it. My view: this is a first-class pub for a quiet winter drink. It is well decorated without being Kitsch. The whole place feels very intimate. Small bar, low lighting, small tables, board games etc.
