Two Lights - London

After hearing positive reviews about this restaurant, I decided to try it for dinner. The decor was quite simple, yet it created a pleasant atmosphere. The service was satisfactory. However, the highlight was definitely the food, which was excellent. I particularly loved the chicken liver parfait, which had a unique Vietnamese twist.

I went with my family for Sunday lunch, and every dish was visually appealing and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly as well. My only criticism is that it might be a bit overpriced; you can find Michelin-starred meals at a similar price. Nonetheless, I was very impressed!

On a positive note, the chicken liver parfait with black garlic and pickled pumpkin was absolutely fantastic! The broccoli was also delicious; I would have happily devoured two servings of each. With so many similar options in London offering nearly identical menus, I would love to see Two Lights take bolder and more adventurous steps with their American-inspired dishes. The potential is definitely there, but the execution could use some improvement.

I had a wonderful dining experience with very friendly service and an affordable menu that offers a great variety without being overwhelming. The Jerusalem artichokes were excellent, and the sourdough bread was amazing! The steak tartare was good, and the scallops with bacon were tasty, although the bacon was a bit overpowering. The Brussels sprouts were also very good. I found the pumpkin ravioli somewhat disappointing. The wine list was interesting, and overall, the atmosphere was very inviting. This is definitely the kind of place I would visit regularly, and I’m excited to explore more of the menu!

Dining here was a truly unique and modern experience! My favorite dishes were the crab on bark fat chips and the grilled flatbread with mushrooms. As for the duck, it was excellent—tender meat with a slightly crispy skin.
