Classic pub with a beautiful vibe and friendly staff! we were looking for a traditional cake and the white lion was not disappointed! I would recommend it!
Near covent garden you will find the white lion pub. from the charming pub is a shade of a restaurant that you could easily miss. the pie shop is a small, 9 tables mostly for 2, plus a small bar, in a room, most of which is a reasonable size room, restaurant. the meals are prepared on the floor above and served over the buried waiter to the restaurant floor. to say that the space available to this facility is a subordination, although the customers would not think so, given the excellent service and quality of the offered tariffs. the staff are great, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, never backwards to give their own recommendations from the menu. apropos menu, speciality delicious cakes are shot daily on the menu, maybe offer the best fish chips I cost back in Britain. Feel them free to contradict, but I have tasted a few in different countries and so no swallow, although it is on personal preferences. the muddy peas have insulted this opinion. my companion started with the fish pie, accompanied by bulmers, old mout cider, and ended up with a lovely sticky toffee pudding with custard, wherby yours really washed the main course down with some london pride (naturally caught) and rounded off the meal with a bramleys apple pie with custard. two happy travelers on a home trip were good with eating, drinking and eating atmosphere that would be hard to beat in this modern society. in any case they amuse a place to visit if they are hungry and want to eat large homemade style with a good choice of drnks.
We went to a pub this afternoon, the friendly bar staff showed us to the restaurant in the upper floor, which was beautiful. the fish and chips were great, said the woman, and the child’s share was right for the 10. My Lambry Pie was srumptious, combine this with a tease oil pint and boom, a visit well worthy of a return.
Great traditional pub: very good beers and excellent pies. A taste of London's history.
