Oooops the kitchen had to close after our starters as they had electrical problems and were unable to cook didn't help that I had just sent my starter back as it was too spicy and had to share starters with my dinner buddies and it was my birthday! Good thing was we didn't have to pay for the drinks and starter.

In general, the evening was enjoyable in a comfortable setting with tasty food.

The service is typically good, but it was exceptional when we went because the restaurant was empty. We ordered the ribs, which were good but could have used more BBQ sauce. The shrimp was delicious and the portions were generous. I would recommend trying their Sunday roast instead, as it was superb.

Finally got around to trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's more comfortable than most of the cafes nearby which is a big plus but hardly the only reason to go. Other reasons are the friendly and efficient service, varied menu and reasonable prices.
