Restaurant was closed not sure why this is still on OpenTable

Booked a table for and arrived to find the restaurant closed. It said on this website and Lagu Facebook page that the restaurant was open. Nobody bothered to contact us to tell us otherwise. A complete disappointment and wasted trip from the other side of London. No joke with a child at lunch time!

Beautiful restaurant, warm atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Great overall.

Quiet little place serving simple but quality Japanese dishes. Especially love the karaage huge tender pieces bursting with flavours, no thick deceiving layers of batter. They unfortunately ran out of sashimi which was a shame though!

Read a few very positive instagram posts about Lagu and I have a very high expectation and look forward the visit, indeed, Lagu didn't disappoint me, I ordered the teriyaki karaage don, the deep-fried chicken (Japanese karaage) mixed with teriyaki sauce and with Japanese mayo on top. For me it's a bit salty as they have marinated the chicken so well, with extra teriyaki sauce made it a bit over-seasoned, don't get me wrong, I loved it My husband ordered the chicken combo curry, which has chicken karaage and Japanese curry, with soft boiled egg on top, my husband also very satisfied with his choice, I tried the original chicken karaage and it was very tasty, it was the best karaage I have tried in London They served the multigrain rice which got the extra marks I am Asian and travelled to Japan for many times, it's really authentic and delicious.
