Food ranging from very bad deep fried squid, horribly greasy, but lacking any taste) to indifferent pho with some remote resemblance to a real thing, but not much more. Noodles came in a solid lump, impossible to separate, meanly small portion of herbs on the side). Shrimp rolls that managed to be completely sterile to taste buds. Green papaya salad was slightly better then the rest , but not good.
There is a good variety of dishes to choose from. We enjoyed the starters and mains as shown in the picture. Not too busy on Sunday lunch time and has a number of tables down stairs too!. It could do with a makeover as furniture is old and tired... other than that great service and food.
Really nice food, shaking beef was excellent. Bun Sa was definitely the highlight. The place is like a basic cafe style. Being charged 12.5% service charge is a bit steep. Beer is a bit over priced especially with service charge included. Overall definitely worth a visit. And the value is still excellent considering central london prices.
The tastiest I've eaten in London, light and inexpensive
