Contribuiți la feedbackThis old cafe was a great find, we really enjoyed a reasonably priced lunch from a menu of traditional dishes. No touristy stuff here but the kind of food you would expect your grandmother to cook, if she was from Rioja. The service was quick and effective. The ambiance was great, only locals eat here and many know each other and sthe staff. The restaurant has been around for about 100 years under different names and has a great collection of photos from different eras and lots of memorabilia without being kitschy. For my taste (and my money) the best restaurant in Logroño. Unassuming, full of charm, with real food and local flavor at a reasonable price.
I would rate this a minus 1 if that was an option. I ordered a mixed salad. It came with 3 tomatoes that had the core included, a few pieces of lettuce some tuna snd no dressing. I also ordered the spaghetti bolognese. It arrived iced cold both the pasta and sauce! The sauce was something so unusual and terrible nothing resembling bolognese. My husband ordered a pizza. After 30 minutes something resembling a very bad frozen pizza arrived. We left as hungry as we arrived as the meal was inedible!!
We stopped at this cafe' because it had menestra and other vegetable dish in the menu: it turned out there was none. Besides the waiter was the worst I had waiting on me in all my life.
We ate the menu when we got to achino and repeated at dinner because we had the experience and did not want to abound in the offer of other restaurants. It looked like a menu bar, cheap and more than correct. Dinner was already more of tapas, but equally well. if you want a menu near the cathedral, high but central street and young mogollion. This place is on that line. By the way, we all found that one of the biggest assets in the place was the waiter who attended the menu area at noon and the terrace at night, a very professional type in treatment and management. eye to the owner !!! that will remove it. salute.
Of the first bags and saladilla russian, very riquious, second, snails and cod, very good. to the girl chicken fillets with chips, which has devoured, and spectacular desserts and all homemade, natillas, rice with milk and browni.
