Every time we order our favourite dishes like nihari or Haleem or even simple thing like halwa puri breakfast the taste is different. Some days it's delicious beyond belief that we get these authentic tastes in Brisbane. Same thing next time big disappointment. Also the owners keep striking things off menu. So sadly now days we avoid going to BBQ Tonight unless we are particularly in a gambling mood.
Absolutely terrible food and service. I went there for a friend's birthday with a group of 20-25 other people. We had called in advance to make a booking, and yet the restaurant was understaffed (only 2 poor waitresses who were frantically running around trying to serve our group + other customers). We waited for 1.5 hours for our food to come out. I ordered the "Seekh Kebab Platter" (which is a part of their BBQ Grill Platter menu) as a main and in the menu it clearly states that the "platter" comes with your choice rice or naan, salad and sauce. What I got instead was a small saucer-sized plate with TWO of the smallest seekh kebabs I have ever seen (about the size of my finger). The remaining half of the plate was covered with a pile of plain shredded cabbage (does that count as salad? I think not). I did not receive a sauce. I did not receive rice or naan. When I placed the order, the waitress did not ask me if I wanted rice or naan, I had to remind her and I told her I wanted rice. When I received the meal, I asked her where my rice is and she said "Oh we're changing menus in a few days and rice is no longer included" OKAY BUT IF IT IS IN THE MENU TODAY, THEN YOU HAVE TO SERVE IT. Or at least tell your customers it is not available. Otherwise, you're cheating your customer! One of our friend's also found a piece of plastic in the rice. When we asked the waitress, she just shrugged and said it must have gotten into the rice as they were heating it up in a plastic takeaway container (nice to know our rice WAS NOT fresh!) Others in our group generally ordered curries and naans, which tasted fine and portion sizes were also acceptable. Overall, did not enjoy this dining experience and I don't think I'll be going back. BBQ Tonight needs to improve their food handling + kebab portion sizes + customer service.

Did the takeaway today. And food was good delicious and authentic. Specially chicken boti and chicken karahi. Love the taste. One of the good food I have. Definitely recommend the restaurant.
Been there last night and loved the food as it was so tasty and well presented. we ordered chicken Kadai and it was in real authentic taste and the atmosphere there was also great as we were served by friendly staff. just looking forward to visit there again any other night to try out there rest of the amazing dishes.
