Had dinner here as we stayed in the hotel, when we first looked at the menu it felt a little overpriced and we were not sure what to expect in terms of portion size etc. However, we were not disappointed! The trinxat as starter was amazing, and my husband's chicken salad was massive. We had the duck and chicken options for our mains which were equally well prepared and presented. The puddings continued to impress with my husband trying the mojito and chocolate moose thing and me the cheese cake. All in all I would eat here again happily! The restaurant could almost do with making the starters smaller and cheaper or offer them as a main course, as initially it was the menu price that put us off slightly, but in the end we lest stuffed and very happy : great place

We get there a very large group, the place is nice and cosy. We asked for beverages, and they forgot 2 of them. We had to ask twice for them... The food it 's expensive and nothing special. We asked also for starters (nothing too hard to serve, some tomatoes with bread) these arrived when we were finishing the main course... and badly served (we ask pa amb tomaquet they arrived in a basket the bread and tomatoes, so you have to prepare it). The main courses are average, nothing special. They charge us for the hamburger 15€ and it has more flavour the one from the Macdonalds... For the service and because we were angry we didn 't ask for desserts, just the bill and flew off there. This place has to change a lot if they ever want more people happy with them.

We went there yesterday to have lunch with a big group of friends , 22 including adults and kids. We had our reservation at 3. We started eating at 4, even if it was a set menu. Food was nice, specially the grilled chicken but service was extremely poor. We ended our meal at 6 in the afternoon. It is a pity because the place is really nice and cosy, it feels like a dining room.

We first booked as we saw the site passing by and we thought it was a great spot. Then we saw TripAdvisor comments and thought twice (terrible service) before confirming the reservation. Result: athough it is not as bad as some others say, there is huge room for improvement on the service side. Few examples: I called by phone to confirm my reservation... The waiter asked to wait a second as he was attending someone else... 4 min later I was still waiting with no response... I hanged up. I called in the next 30 min and their phone was still busy (because the waiter forgot it on). I warned them at my arrival... The waiter provided some good advice after asking for two references which were not available though , but then he failed to ask first to taste it before serving. One of the waiters was cussing (really bad words) and complaining all the time... Not in front of the customers but close enough to be heard by anyone nearby. There was a mess with a couple of the orders (2 out of 10) and they brought the second courses after the desserts... There were a few more small issues BUT, STILL, I truly believe they can improve. If they sort out the service maturity issue (both the waiters and the kitchen staff). The spot is worth the visit: there is an amazing park for the kids, a lovely dedicated gin tonic area outside, an extremely good cocktails bar and wonderfully cossy english style decorated hall. The best experience is to have lunch outside, although that means that is best to go at EatatbEAuty on a sunny day. The very last comment: lunch menu is limited to 3 choices only... Grilled chicken, grilled sausage and grilled T Bone steak (all to be shared by two people), plus a fixed kids menu (pasta and chicken). Alls drinks are paid separate. Wines are too priced. Gin tonic truck, kids garden, outdoor cinema, fireplace, local grown food, amazing cocktails... Every little detail of this restaurant is thought to make sure that you, your friends and your family will feel at home. Or even better. This place has everything from a gastronomic restaurant, but with the very warm feeling and treatment that usually lacks in the regular gastros. The only problem is that you will be back all the time, which is actually not a problem because it remains a place totally affordable : And that´s the beauty of this piece of paradise.
