Crotto Dangri - LIVO

I had lunch in this crotto on a Saturday of November. The votes I gave are related to the type of room. I ate a mixed appetizer of meats that I found very good. As a first dish, I tasted the laces that I really liked. You can reach this crotto or on foot (with a comfortable walk of about 3km) starting from Livo or by other means (moto , bike , car) , but you will have to consider that the road is not particularly beautiful to travel...(especially in the car) In the beautiful season you can eat outdoors. The seats at the Interior are limited therefore I recommend the reservation..

We had lunch with friends and children, lazzoccheri quite good although with very few vegetables, polenta acia excellent and the stew with mushrooms was good. Service like that. From my point of view a little expensive for what it offers overall. The landscape in the surroundings of the farm is very nice.

Beautiful place, good food and the right account. You can get both on foot and in the car but it is worth it..

Nice place to eat in the middle of the mountains at the end of a valley at the end of a very narrow and bad road but nice!

If you find this place your in for a nice suprise. But the road is pretty hairy. What you must get is a ticket in the car park in LIVO this is a toll road 1euro coin required for the machine. With ticket in hand...you leave the car park turn right almost 180 then you can follow the track up past the church there is a car park here and next time we visit we will park the car and walk the 2.7k to crotto dangri its better for any one with a nervous disposition. Our car was a ford focus and only just made it round some of the tight bends. in the whole 2.7k stretch there are only 2-3 passing spaces and as its a very very bendy road following the contours of the hillside you cant see any great distance thank fully we were out of the main holiday season so we meet no other traffic to be honest Im a pretty good (professional) driver with 40 years experience and theres no way i would be able to reverse any great distance (safely). There are no barriers in places to stop you going over the edge. we talked to some locals after and they will not drive this road they leave it free for the owners and the few people who have houses/farms. But we did get there and what a treat good food and coffee excellent views and walks.
