Caribana - Lindenhurst

I never have a bad meal here. My fave entree is the shrimp and grits which is even better as leftovers. The jerk chicken, fritters, empanadas, and salads are all delicious. Haven't gone post COVID but it was always a cute, cozy date night spot. Love having this hidden gem in Lindenhurst.

HMMmmm? Where do I start? Customer service was absolutely perfect. Brett is very cool and down to earth dude. His willingness to listen to your opinion and get feed back made us feel extremely comfortable. Now, the food. I had the Oxtails and my friend had Chicken and Shrimp Etouffee. I like to rate my food so I'm going to rate CARIBANA. The Oxtails were very tender and the gravy was perfect 10 . The Chicken and Shrimp Etouffee 10 was very flavorful and I never had it before and plan to return to try the rest of the menu. My overall rating is a 10

Good good good food!!! Great customer service love this place the coconut shrimp was amazing... I got the shrimp curry and it was great. definitely coming back for it.

Went there for the first time last night. It was the best meal I had in a long time. I had the seared salmon and chose sides of mixed veggies and plantains. The veggies were zucchinis and red peppers and carrots. Finished it off with rum cake with rum sauce. Everything was awesome. The service was excellent and very friendly. Will definitely be going back.

I drive from the south side of Chicago (50+ miles) to get the island bird burger. It's a hit.
